The freedom and responsibility"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These guidelines have been commissioned and drawn up on behalf of the Ministry of Education and Culture between 1 August 2021 and 31 December 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ethical guidelines are recommended to be followed as applicable and as suitable for each specific art field, actor and situation, along with the relevant legislation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The most important laws are compiled in the Links section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instructions open by pressing the blue arrows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item no-js\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\"><h2 id=\"at-490\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\">Artistic freedom includes the artist\u2019s right to choose their subject, method and means of expression. The content and diversity of art should not be externally regulated.<\/h2><div id=\"ac-490\" class=\"c-accordion__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a funder or commissioner, am I unnecessarily interfering with the content of the art?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a decision-maker, am I ready to promote art that does not correspond with my own convictions or preferences?<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item no-js\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\"><h2 id=\"at-491\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\">Making art must respect basic rights. Artists and cultural workers must take into account both their own rights and the rights of others, including the right to enjoy art.<\/h2><div id=\"ac-491\" class=\"c-accordion__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do I understand that making art should not require an individual to give up their basic rights with regards to, for example, protection of privacy or freedom of conscience?<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item no-js\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\"><h2 id=\"at-492\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\">Art also has a responsibility to society, people and nature. When making art, one must consider its ecological, social, economic and cultural impact.<\/h2><div id=\"ac-492\" class=\"c-accordion__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Non-profit activities differ from market-oriented ones. Have I ensured that everybody, in their different positions, can make a living?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Are the solutions I have chosen as ecological as possible according to the available resources?<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item no-js\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\"><h2 id=\"at-493\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\">Diversity is essential for a functioning artistic and cultural life.<br>Mutual appreciation of different forms of art must be supported.<\/h2><div id=\"ac-493\" class=\"c-accordion__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do I place my art field or art form above others?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Have I sufficiently researched the conditions and needs of other art forms?<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>These guidelines have been commissioned and drawn up on behalf of the Ministry of Education and Culture between 1 August 2021 and 31 December 2022.
